The Odyssey of Homer
S. H. Butcher and A. Lang.
“Odyssey” means the poem about Odysseus who was one of the Greek princes who captured Troy. This poem, with the “Iliad”, tells how a Greek army besieged the prehistoric city of Troy, and how, after its fall, they returned home with great difficulty and danger. They don’t tell the whole story–our imagination has to do some filling in!
